Hopefully not goodbye to an old friend

Last Friday Heidi and I went out to dinner with some of our friends from our ward and then we had tickets to Desert Star. Dinner was over just after 8 and our show didn't start untill 9:30 so we decided to go to the Apple store at the Gateway. I really forgot how much I love that store. Everytime I go in there I really wish I was a millionare so I could by all the neat things there. While we were there, I was looking at the Ipod shuffles and I was suggesting to Heidi it would be good to have one for running. Not that I was seriously thinking about buying one right then and there, but maybe in the future. I just didn't know that it would come so soon. So Yesterday when I had just got home from work and I was getting out of my car. I had a few things in my hand and I was trying to juggle everything and keep things from falling. Not paying attention, I shut my ipod in my car door.



What are the chances? I think 1 in 100,000,000,000,000,000 or some where around there. So I ran inside and hooked him up to the computer to see if he was dead for good this time(this was not his first accident, he has been such a trooper). To my amazement all of the songs were still there - I just can't see anything on the screen. So I know have a 30gb ipod shuffle... although not as portable as I would like it to be. I just want to say that I am not giving up on him. My friend Mark said that we should be able to fix it as long as it's just the screen. I hope that we can fix it. I don't really think that I am ready to part with it just yet. Even though a new one would hold more songs and more movies, i just don't have the money and I would really miss my old friend.

I am such a slacker

The title says it all. I have been so lazy at keeping my blog current. So I am going to do my best to keep it up. I do have some pictures from my St. George MTB trip that I need to post and I am hoping to get them posted with in the next few days. until then i hope the videos I have posted keep you busy until then.

Chocolate Milk and the Store

Yesterday I had to go to the store to get a few things before Karson(Heidi's cousin) and His wife Kami Came over for dinner. I first went to grab a gallon of milk and I heard the chocolate milk calling my name. So not wanting to leave it there all alone I put it in the cart too and went to get the other things on my list. On arriving to the check out I noticed that on the floor a puddle of chocolate milk. Picking up the half gallon of Chocolate milk and hoping that the small spill wasn't from me I notice the tiny slit in the bottom of the carton diminishing my hopes. I then pointed out the small hole to the cashier and apologized and asked him if I could run and get a new carton. I quickly ran back to the refrigerated dairy items to get some more. While running back I happened to glance down and noticed little chocolate drips on the floor. Looking closer I noticed that I had dripped chocolate milk all over the floor. How embarrassing! I went through that whole store and had a trail of milk to show where I had been, and this whole time not a person said anything me. I think it is worse thought that I didn't even notice. Oh well

Can you hear the music? I wouldn't be surprised if you could my neighbors below us have it up loud enough. I feel like a old man. I even went down there to ask them to turn it down, but they didn't even hear the door bell they have it up so loud. Oh well what can you do, I guess just complain about it

My Blog

So I'm starting a blog and I don't really know what to say but I'm going to give it a try. My wife says that I better mention her in my blog. My wife is the best and I love spending time with her. My next goal is to get her to go mountain biking with me. That is a pretty big goal because the last time we went I thought she was going to kill me and never see me again. Ok I mentioned her, and I do love her.
So work is going pretty well, except it is ridiculously cold and he have been working outside the last few days. I think that the rest of the week we will be inside setting finish on a few houses. I did get some good news today though, my boss(who is also my father-in-law) said that I was going to get a raise on this paycheck coming up, so thats cool. well i think thats it for my boring blog so good night
